Who We Are

We’re based in a village close to Stamford and Peterborough, and here in the grounds of our barn house we grow a range of beautiful, country garden flowers.  They are available to buy from May to October, in line with the seasons.

Caring for wildlife and nature lie at the core of what we do.  We have regular animal garden visitors including deer, rabbits, pheasants, birds, and hundreds of minibeasts.  Everything here is pesticide and chemical free and we use tried and tested gardening methods, working with nature to create happy, healthy plants.

It is an interesting fact that many of us are not particularly aware of where our flowers come from. Rather like our attitude to fruit and vegetables, we have become used to year-round availability of anything and everything we might want.  So it is with flowers, but this does come at a cost to the environment and ultimately to the health of the planet. What we do is seasonal and air miles-free, helping to reduce your carbon footprint in a lovely way.

Although we’ve been growing flowers for many years, 2023 saw the launch of Barnyard Flowers, our flower-selling business.  Now we are delighted to be able to offer beautiful cut flowers for sale.  Read on to see how we sell our flowers, and please do get in touch with any enquiries.
